- Group Lead for Research Software Engineering at the German Informatics Society (GI), holding the scientific direction of the FG RSE
- Directing the Master Curriculum Research Software Engineering (RSE-Master 2025), and representing that work in the Skills and Training for Research Software (STaRS) Forum of the Research Software Alliance
- Project lead of the GI RSE Award for outstanding research software, and PI for the GI in FutuRSI (Future of Sustainable Research Software Infrastructure)
- Writing a habilitation on methodological research integrity for research software (the RIGHT framework); first chapter available as a preprint
- Teaching RSE as a guest lecturer at RWTH Aachen, with two further RSE courses at the University of Potsdam in the coming semester
- Paper projects with the teaching RSE group of deRSE
